| View MOV, MPEG, PICT, and JPEG files
In this age of multimedia, one of the pieces of software nearly everybody should have on their system is QuickTime. It lets you view multimedia .mov and .mpg files, along with still images in the PICT and JPEG formats. Two applets are included: Movie Player and Picture Viewer. Movie Player has a fast-start feature that presents the first frame of the movie almost immediately and can begin playing even before a .mov file has downloaded completely. The program is self-installing, will look for and delete previous versions of itself, and contains internal support for many of the current top-quality PC graphics accelerator cards. A built-in self-calibration feature helps to set the viewer for your video card. A 16-bit version of QuickTime is also available. |
